Situated in Kelsall, Cheshire, The Royal Oak reopened under new management in April 2011 and has developed a menu based on a commitment to provide dishes made with skill, care and using quality local produce. Sourcing their ingredients from as close to home as possible and serving up a menu of well considered, value for money food with superior service, they have built up a loyal and regular customer base.
Planning and preparing the menu for the event will be 23 year old Reef Weston. Reef began his catering career with a two year apprenticeship in Kelsall before his passion for desserts and pastry saw him spend two years in a patisserie and a year at a bakery. Missing the buzz of a busy kitchen, Reef was delighted to return to Kelall and The Royal Oak where he has honed his understanding of flavour combinations and presentation. Taking on the front of house role and host for the evening will be Sam Mallows. Sam has previously worked in the hospitality industry and has developed and refined his skills as a host and a passion for food and drink. Ensuring that guests receive a standard of service to match the quality of food, Sam ensures that the whole dining experience matches up to expectations.
