Talented Chefs & Hosts North West delivered a wonderful evening of first class cuisine and service at the Cock O Barton in Cheshire. The atmospheric coach house provided a perfect setting as chef Paul Edwards dished up a mouth watering menu and Shaun Young was a warm and gracious host. The starter of smoked haddock and leek pasty was complimented beautifully by a pickled shallot, watercress and dill salad. The finest pork loin was served up with fresh peas, broad bean and smoked bacon fricassee, seasonal asparagus and herbed jersey royals. Desert was a twist on the classic Battenburg with a delectable dark chocolate and fresh mint centre, accompanied by a cup of Earl Grey tea. A selection of cheeses and an espresso, courtesy of our kind sponsors Joseph Heler Cheese and illy, rounded off a successful evening.
